About the position:
Join a leading outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation clinic! As a CHT, you will play a crucial role in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with upper extremity conditions. Your expertise will help patients regain function, reduce pain, and improve their quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Patient Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with a variety of upper extremity conditions, including fractures, tendonitis, nerve injuries, and post-surgical rehabilitation.
- Treatment Planning: Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s specific needs, incorporating evidence-based practices and techniques.
- Therapeutic Interventions: Implement a range of therapeutic interventions, such as:
- Manual therapy techniques
- Therapeutic exercises
- Modalities (e.g., ultrasound, electrical stimulation)
- Splinting and fabrication
- Occupational therapy interventions (for OTs)
- Physical therapy interventions (for PTs)
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about their condition, treatment plan, and home exercise programs to promote optimal recovery.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, surgeons, and other therapists, to ensure coordinated care.
- Clinical Supervision: Provide clinical supervision to physical therapy and occupational therapy assistants, as needed.

- Licensed Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist
- Certified Hand Therapist
