To further our mission of making a positive impact on the world, Pernini Legal is partnered with Evertreen to support reforestation projects in Spain and Portugal. These areas hold special significance for our CEO and President, Teresa Pernini, because of her transformative study abroad experience during law school (photos below).  This journey not only introduced Teresa to her husband but also shaped her development as a global citizen and future attorney.  To preserve these meaningful locations for others, Pernini Legal is committed to minimizing our carbon footprint and reforesting local areas in need.

  • Reforestation in Portugal - Evertreen, in collaboration with local partners, is planting trees in areas where the landscape has been damaged by wildfires and deforestation. The trees they are planting are fire resistant!
  • Seaforestation in Spain - Evertreen is working with the Sea Meadows project to restore marine ecosystems through innovative structural engineering.
  • Reforestation in Madagascar - Madagascar is one of the world's top priorities for reforestation, as the country has lost 90% of its primary forests, making Evertreen's work in the area crucial.

Adopt A Farmer

We have taken our commitment to environmental restoration further by participating in Evertreen's "Adopt a Farmer" program, where we're directly supporting a local farmer named Ramboanilaina François.

Through this initiative, we have the opportunity to support local livelihoods in addition to contributing to Evertreen's reforestation efforts.
