About the Role

As a Speech Pathologist / Speech Therapist, you will play a key role in supporting clients across a diverse caseload, helping them improve their communication, speech, language, and swallowing abilities.

You will conduct comprehensive assessments, deliver evidence-based interventions, and work closely with families, carers, and allied health professionals to achieve meaningful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, communication, and swallowing assessments
Develop and implement individualised therapy plans aligned with client goals
Deliver evidence-based speech therapy interventions
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary allied health team
Support and educate families and caregivers on communication strategies
Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with compliance standards
Utilise AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) tools and technologies
Stay current with speech pathology research and best practice guidelines

Qualifications:

Key Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Speech Pathology
• Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia
• Minimum 35 years clinical experience in speech pathology
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working in NDIS, disability, or community health settings (highly regarded)
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Commitment to patient-centred and outcome-focused care
