Regional General Manager
Job description:
This is a senior leadership role with full ownership of the Tennessee region, responsible for driving revenue growth, leading a multi-site team, and managing overall business performance. The company operates in the access and security solutions space, providing installation, service, and ongoing support for commercial facility systems. Their workspans both project-based installations and recurring service agreements, supporting long-term customer relationships and a steady revenue base.
The role blends sales leadership, operational oversight, and full P&L responsibility, with a clear focus on expanding market presence, growing recurring revenue, and building a team that can scale with the business. This is not a turnaround its an opportunity to step into an established market and push it to the next level.
Sales Growth- Drive new business, expand existing accounts, and grow market share
- Lead all revenue channels including new logos, vertical expansion, and service contracts
- Personally involved in key opportunities and strategic relationships
- Own forecasting, pipeline management, and overall sales performance
Installation & Construction- Oversee full project lifecycle from planning through completion
- Manage scheduling, backlog, subcontractors, and job execution
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to standard
- Own job costing and margin performance
Service & Maintenance- Lead service operations focused on response time, quality, and retention
- Drive growth in preventive maintenance programs and service agreements
- Improve first-time fix rates and overall service efficiency
- Use service as a driver for recurring revenue and customer retention
P&L Ownership- Full responsibility for regional financial performance
- Manage revenue, gross margin, labor efficiency, and profitability
- Forecast, budget, and drive performance against targets
Team Leadership
- Lead and develop branch managers, sales reps, and operational teams
- Recruit and build teams across the region
- Establish accountability, coaching, and performance standards
Qualifications:
- 10+ years in field services, with leadership experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a multi-site regional leadership role with direct P&L responsibility
- Proven success driving revenue growth and leading sales teams
- Experience overseeing both installation/construction and service operations
- Strong financial and operational understanding
- Ability to lead teams and build relationships at all levels
- Experience with CRM/ERP systems
- Technical industry experience is helpful but not required (security access controls, surveillance etc)
