  • Reports To: National Sales & Marketing Manager
  • Department: Sales & Commercial
  • Territory Options: Per assigned location- South (HCMC base)
  • Channel Scope: Multi-channel (Hospital | Private Clinics/Outpatient | OTC)
  • Mission: In this market-building phase, TM will lead a team of Medical Representatives to unlock new account listings, maximize won tender contracts, and build a sustainable private clinic network from the ground up.

I. Core Responsibilities

1. Drive Regional Market Growth & Territory Building

  • Map out high-potential accounts and create a practical plan to introduce Torrents specialized portfolio to hospitals and clinics.
  • Balance the business across two main drivers:
    • Tender Channel: Keep a close eye on won hospital contracts and tender listing. Track how much volume is being consumed month-by-month and step in to unblock bottlenecks at the pharmacy or department level.
    • Non-Tender Channel: Spot opportunities in private hospitals, clinics, and outpatient pharmacies. Recommend suitable tailored commercial discount programs to win business from competitors.

2. High-Impact Stakeholder Management

  • Personally build and maintain strong partnerships with key decision-makers: Department Heads (Neurology, Psychiatry, Cardiology, GI), Hospital Directors, and Heads of Pharmacy.
  • Work closely with marketing to organize localized scientific events or small-group presentations that build clinical trust in our products.

3. Lead and Coach the Field Force

  • Recruit, onboard, and build an energetic team of Medical Representatives.
  • Spend regular time in the field doing double-visits to coach your team on clinical detailing, objection handling, and hospital execution.

4. Commercial and Supply Coordination

  • Take ownership of your region's sales targets and manage the regional marketing/promotional budget efficiently.
  • Keep track of regional stock levels and coordinate with distributors/ management to ensure Company do not experience product stockouts.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate from a Medical/Pharmaceutical University or a related Science/Business degree with a strong track record in healthcare.
  • Experience: Minimum 23 years of experience as a Sales Supervisor, Team Leader, or Senior Specialist in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Channel Familiarity: Experience working with hospitals (ETC) or private clinic networks in your assigned region. If you have strong results in one channel and an open mind to quickly master the other, we want to talk to you.Prior experience managing specialty portfolios in CNS, Neurology, Psychiatry, or Cardiovascular therapeutic areas is a major advantage.
  • Core Skills: Comfortable working with Excel numbers, strong negotiation style, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
  • Traits: Resilient, energetic, execution-oriented, and excited about building a business from the early stage. Competence in basic professional English is an advantage.
