Partner with highly technical engineering teams developing rugged embedded computing solutions.

High-impact role with significant visibility across customers, sales, engineering, and company leadership.

Ideal opportunity for a design engineer transitioning into product management or an experienced technical product manager with deep RF/DSP/FPGA expertise.

Work with technologies spanning the complete signal chainfrom RF front end and data conversion through FPGA-based digital processing.

They Value and Appreciate Their Employees

Opportunity to work on technically challenging products supporting mission-critical applications.

Collaborative environment that values engineering expertise and innovation.

Exposure to customers, senior leadership, engineering, sales, and strategic business decisions.

Opportunity to influence long-term product strategy and technology direction.

Career growth opportunities within a global technology organization.

Your Role with the Company

As the Technical Product Manager FPGA, RF & DSP, you will own the strategy, roadmap, definition, and lifecycle management of RF, DSP, and FPGA-based COTS solutions.

The ideal candidate brings a strong engineering/design background and understands how RF and DSP theory translates into real-world hardware and FPGA implementations. You will use this technical foundation to identify market opportunities, define product requirements, evaluate technical tradeoffs, and guide products from concept through launch.

Responsiblities

Own and maintain the product strategy for RF/DSP and FPGA solutions within the overall product portfolio.

Develop multi-year product roadmaps based on customer needs, technology trends, competitive intelligence, and business objectives.

Translate complex system-level requirements and engineering tradeoffs into compelling product strategies and requirements.

Develop business cases for new products and present recommendations to executive leadership.

Lead product concept definition and support the NPI process from initial requirements through product launch.

Evaluate competitive products, technologies, architectures, and relevant form factors.

Manage product-line financial performance, including revenue, cost, profitability, and investment priorities.

Partner closely with engineering to define product requirements, technical differentiation, and development priorities.

Work with sales, customers, and partners to understand market requirements and identify new opportunities.

Participate in customer engagements and provide technical support during complex discussions.

Develop technical presentations, product collateral, training materials, and other product communications.

Support secure customer engagements where required.

Monitor portfolio performance and recommend product enhancements, investments, or lifecycle changes.

Influence cross-functional teams and drive positive outcomes without direct authority.

Communicate complex RF, DSP, FPGA, and embedded technologies clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Must Have

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a closely related technical discipline; Master's degree preferred.

7+ years of experience in RF, DSP, FPGA, embedded electronics, or related defense/embedded technology markets.

Strong technical understanding of FPGA architectures, RF systems, and Digital Signal Processing.

Strong understanding of the complete RF-to-digital signal chain, including RF front ends, data converters, FPGA processing, and DSP.

Demonstrated ability to understand real-world hardware implementations, not just theoretical RF/DSP concepts.

Experience with embedded electronics and/or embedded software.

Experience evaluating system-level technical tradeoffs, performance constraints, architecture, cost, and manufacturability.

Ability to translate technical concepts into product requirements, product definitions, and business cases.

Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with engineering, sales, customers, suppliers, and executive leadership.

Desired

Previous Product Management experience with FPGA, DSP, RF, mixed-signal, or embedded computing products.

Experience transitioning from design engineering into product management.

Direct experience designing products involving FPGA + DSP + RF/mixed-signal technologies.

Experience with rugged embedded computing, COTS products, defense, aerospace, or other high-reliability applications.

Experience developing and managing multi-year product roadmaps.

Experience building and presenting business cases, investment proposals, and product strategies to executive leadership.

Experience with NPI/NPD product launches and product lifecycle management.

Familiarity with Military Standards and requirements development for defense products.

Experience with customer-facing technical presentations, product demonstrations, and strategic engagements.

Experience with embedded software and/or firmware development.

Experience managing product profitability, revenue, cost, and portfolio performance.

Prior experience in technical leadership or product management without direct reports.
