Sales Account Manager / Sales Manager

Industry: Paper and Packaging

A well established organization in the corrugated packaging industry is seeking an experienced Sales Representative, Sales Account Manager or Sales Manager for a home-based sales role covering a defined territory in the Northeastern US. This role is focused entirely on corrugated sheets.

Territory: Western Pennsylvania / Western-Central New York corridor

Position Summary

This is a home-based, territory-driven sales role. The right candidate will live within or near the Western PA / Western-Central NY corridor given the concentration of accounts, and will spend regular time in the field with existing and prospective clients. Outside of travel days, the role operates remotely, with full autonomy to manage the territory and schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the territory
• Develop and execute a territory sales strategy
• Manage and grow existing client relationships
• Negotiate pricing and contracts
• Coordinate with internal teams on delivery and service

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred, though equivalent industry experience will be considered
• 5 to 15 years of outside sales experience within corrugated sheet packaging
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth
• Strong knowledge of packaging products and the surrounding market
• Excellent sales, negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to work independently while coordinating with internal teams
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory for client meetings
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CRM tools is a plus
