Public Finance Associate Attorney (Atlanta)
PUBLIC FINANCE ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY
Our client, a prestigious AmLaw 50 international law firm, is seeking a
Candidate Profile
- JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
- Active Bar Admission in Georgia, in good standing
- 1-3 years of substantive transactional experience in public finance transactions
- Background in real estate, financial services, or corporate transactional practice
- Demonstrated interest in traditional tax‑exempt bond finance, economic development incentives, and public and private partnerships
- Excellent drafting, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive, client‑service‑oriented mindset
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate loan documents and related transaction materials
- Manage deal workflows, including coordination with internal teams, clients, and third‑party participants to ensure timely execution
- Interface directly with clients, lenders, and other deal participants
- Support senior attorneys on public finance and specialty finance transactions
- Assist with business development initiatives and client relationship management efforts

Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive Salary: Annual base salary is expected to range from $215,000-$250,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and market factors
