Teresa has 30 years in the legal profession. With decades of experience working in AmLaw firms in Atlanta, as well as, around, and among attorneys in the largest & most prestigious law firms across the US, she has a deep understanding of the legal profession, its challenges, its opportunities, and the changes it has undergone and continues to undergo. Having sacrificed many sleepless nights to close multi-state, secured syndicated loan financing transactions or other commercial real estate deals while juggling life at home during her litigator husband’s multi-week trials, she deeply and personally understands the commitment a “life in law” demands. She hears partners’ needs and frustrations. She knows clients and courts do not wait. She also knows that real life doesn’t, either. She’s been there, for years at a time. She didn’t give up when it was her career at stake, and she won’t give up when it’s yours, either.
As a devoted mother of three active, intelligent, and ambitious kids (now adults), as well as caregiver for an elderly parent, she greatly understands the desires, reasons, and needs for work-life balance. Thirty years after her own law school graduation, she has seen and continues to see the transformation of law, as words like “hybrid” and “remote” become part of the conversation. For her client firms and companies, she sees the gaps that need filling in law firms. From her unique insight into what “Big Law” needs are, to her ability to listen carefully and willingness to go the extra mile to help firms recruit and retain quality talent, she builds lasting relationships with client firm hiring managers and in house counsel talent recruiters. She is a valued partner and resource for in-house recruiters and law firm talent managers. With every call and interaction, it is evident, she cares.
